Hey Naomi! I'm glad you all enjoyed it. I think the requirements.txt behavior is expected and actually good, if my streamlit app uses more libraries other than streamlit (which I guess most do) and I don't have a requirements.txt with those libraries, I would hope it would be a hard requirement.

If I don't use other libraries, there isn't a hard requirement for Streamlit sharing. I checked this out this morning and edited the piece.
